This class covers basic orthopedic assessment techniques as well as the neuromuscular processes governing the stretch reflex and the inverse stretch reflex. Participants will learn how to achieve improved balance and function throughout the body. This is primarily a hands-on course consisting of a short lecture then instructor demonstrations followed by return demonstrations from students for each major muscle group.
Massage tables are provided. Registrants must provide their own table linens. Registrants should wear loose, comfortable clothing to class. A certificate of completion with 8 CE will be issued from Marshal Hartley of Massage In Motion. This course is limited to 16 seats and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Questions & Answers
This class is primarily for licensed massage therapists who are earning CE for license renewal. Other professionals may be able to use the CE credits for licensure renewal, however, they should check with their licensing organization to be sure. The course is NCBTMB approved.
